Chakraborty Mahashoy tells Pritram not to trust Bidyalankar Mahashoy. Jugal tells Chandra to make arrangements for the widow to leave the Marh house. Jogmaya and Didimaa, both abuse Rani. Meanwhile, Thakumaa makes a plan to secretly send the widow to Kashi. Thereafter, Ram Mohan praises Rani in front of Chandra, saying that Rani did the right thing. A few guards are instructed by Thakumaa to escort the widow. On the way to Kashi, the widow comes face to face with Aghor Shastri.
