As per Deepika Padukone‘s opinion about pay disparity, it is quite clear that she knows what she brings to the table and that’s why she is not afraid to ask more for her work. Interestingly, it is reported that she charged more fees than Ranveer Singh and Amitabh Bachchan in films Padmaavat and Piku, respectively. In a media interaction, Amitabh Bachchan too confirmed this.

The next actor in this list is our own Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit. It might raise your brows, but we would like to tell you that Madhuri charged more than Salman Khan for the film Hum Aapke Hain Koun, directed by Sooraj Barjatya. Reportedly, Madhuri charged 3 corers for the film.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is business savvy and her film choices are proof of it. Looking at her last releases such as Veere Di Wedding and Ki & Ka, among many others, the actor was paid more than her co-stars. In fact, for her project Kurabaan, she charged more fees than her husband Saif Ali Khan.

How can we forget Alia Bhatt to name in this list? For her film Raazi, she charged ₹10 crores while the hero of the film, Vicky Kaushal was paid only ₹3 crores. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has also grabbed a spot in this list, as she has bagged the highest amount check for her films, such as Judgemental Hai Kya, Katti Batti and Manikarnika, among many others. On the other hand, our Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra too charged more than the hero in the film Mary Kom. Actor Preity Zinta and Shraddha Kapoor have also earned more than the hero of their film for a few projects.
