John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate 2 To Release During Eid; More Details Inside

On the auspicious occasion of India’s 72nd Republic Day, Bollywood actor John Abraham took to his social media handle and made a big announcement for his fans. While extending the Republic day wishes to his fan, along with a picture, John Abraham announced the release date of his most-awaited film Satyamev Jayate. In the still, John is seen sporting an all-white look while holding India’s National flag. Interestingly, John’s moustache and tikka were quite evident in the photo.

Talking about John’s announcement post, in the caption, John wrote that “Jan Gana Mana” is more important than peace, body and prosperity. Later, he revealed that his film will hit the theatres on May 14 this year. In the further caption, the Desi Boyz actor tagged the makers and other cast and crew members of the film. As soon as the announcement was made on social media, it managed to garner an overwhelming response as it bagged more than seven lakh double-taps, and is still counting.

Needlessly to say, the film is expected to set fire at the BO just like its first installment. But, this time it will be interesting to see the BO collection of this film as it will clash with Salman Khan’s Radhe. For the unversed, earlier, Salman Khan’s Radhe was scheduled to release on OTT platforms. However, on film exhibitors’ request, the Sultan of Bollywood decided to give it a theatre release. In a statement, Salman has said, “In return, I would expect them to take utmost amount of care and precautions for the audience who would come to the theatre to watch Radhe. The commitment was of Eid and it will be Eid 2021″.

Well, we would like to remind you that the first installment of Satymeva Jayate also witnessed a clash from Akshay Kumar’s Gold as both films were released on the same day in 2018. Talking about the upcoming installment, it will also feature director Divya Khosla Kumar as the female lead. Meanwhile, Milap Zaveri will be credited as the director of the film.
