Actor Adwait Dadarkar is one of the most talented actors in the Marathi TV industry. He is known for playing both negative and positive roles and is truly quite versatile. In fact, two of his most recent roles have proven that Adwait can ace being both the villain and the good guy. As it is his birthday today, let us take this opportunity to honour the star and take a look at how he has aced being both the antagonist as well the protagonist.
Watch the latest episode of Aggabai Sunbai here:
Adwait as Soham
Currently, he is seen in Aggabai Sunbai playing the role of Soham. A vicious man who only cares for money and does not value relations. In fact, he is also cheating on his wife Shubhra and does not care how she feels about it. He is so diabolical, that he threatened Shubhra to not expose his affair to anyone. He harassed her, and when she got hurt, he used her blood to use it as Sindoor on her. That’s how evil and heartless he is.
While we may not like Soham, we really appreciate Adwait’s acting skills. The way he has portrayed Soham’s craze, deviousness and dual life, is truly commendable. It almost makes us forget that right before taking up this role, he was playing a completely opposite role on Mazhya Navryachi Bayko.
Adwait as Soumitra
In Mazhya Navryachi Bayko, Adwait played the role of Soumitra – the kind, loving, and helpful guy who saved Radhika from her past. After Radhika got cheated on by Gurunath, she was shattered and broken. It was Soumitra who showed her a silver lining and lifted her spirits. He helped her move on from Gurunath and eventually fell in love with her. Even after they got married, he was the most wonderful, loving and doting husband to Radhika.
So you see, Adwait has played two diametrically opposite characters enmeshed in a similar situation. He has been an anchor and a saviour to a girl who got cheated on by her husband. And, he is currently the guy hurting and cheating on his wife, without a care in the world.
We think, no one could have pulled off both these roles better than the birthday boy and he truly deserves a hat tip for his brilliant performances. He has won our hearts with these roles and has established himself as a prominent star of the Marathi TV industry. Here’s wishing him a very happy birthday.
