Kirron Kher To Make A Comeback Post Blood Cancer Diagnosis; Actress Join India’s Got Talent Season 9 As Judge

Kirron Kher is an actress in the Bollywood industry who has appeared in several films to date. She had joined politics a few times ago and unfortunately was diagnosed with blood cancer earlier this year. To get a speedy recovery the actress turned politician was seen taking rest at home. And now she is all set to resume her work after resting for a couple of days. Kirron Kher will be returning to television as the host of India’s Got Talent Season 9 with Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Badshah.

Kirron Kher has been associated with India’s Got Talent since it started in 2009. She has expressed her excitement about her return to the show while talking to a leading news portal. She has said that India’s Got Talent has always been close to her heart! This being her ninth year with the prestigious talent reality show, returning as a jury member is a wonderful experience for the actress. Kirron feels like coming back home. Year on year, India’s Got Talent is known to encourage and put the spotlight on varied and exceptional talent from across the country and every time, she is left in awe as the quality of talent just keeps getting better and better.

Kirron also added that it’s always been a moment of pride for her to be a part of a show that helps turn dreams into reality by giving a platform for everybody to showcase their rare talent. She is extremely elated to be judging the show with the Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Badshah. Kirron Kher is happy to be a part of the show and cannot wait to take on this new journey of discovering what India has in store this year.

In April this year, her husband and actor Anupam Kher had shared that his wife had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. He took to his Twitter handle and wrote that just so that rumours don’t get the better of a situation Sikandar and he would like to inform everyone that Kirron has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment and they are sure she will come out of this stronger than before. They are very blessed that she is being looked after by a phenomenal set of doctors. She’s always been a fighter and takes things head on.

Speaking of the show, the first season of India’s Got Talent aired in 2009. At that time Kirron, actor Sonali Bendre and film director Shekhar Kapur were judges. The show welcomed many new judges later on such as Sajid Khan, Dharmendra, Farah Khan, Karan Johar and many others. The 9th season will soon start airing on the leading television channel.
