Kumkum Bhagya 17 February 2022 Written Update: Pallavi washes away Prachi’s vermilion

In the previous episode of Kumkum Bhagya, Prachi yet again colludes with the driver, to keep her updated about the police raid at Rhea and Ranbeer’s new hotel. Sahana insists that she should leave the house after all the humiliation that Pallavi caused her. Daljeet tells her that Prachi needs her support in the house and should stay despite being humiliated. At the police station, Rhea argues with and threatens the police inspector to let her and Ranbeer go but he begins to ask for their marriage certificate. Ranbeer secretly admires Prachi’s ploy and heaves a sigh of relief for the honeymoon to have gotten interrupted. After watching and eavesdropping on an angry and distressed Prachi vowing to protect her vermilion, Alia begins to provoke Pallavi to get Prachi thrown out of the house. Pointing out the redundancy of her advice, Pallavi dismisses it. Later, Alia shares a plan with Pallavi to cause Prachi so much misery that she would willingly leave the house. Pallavi agrees and asks Alia to call Prachi.

In the latest episode of Kumkum Bhagya, Alia knocks at a grief-stricken Prachi’s room and tells her that Pallavi has called for her. Prachi taunts Alia for causing trouble at the house and leaves for Pallavi. Once she enters the living room, Pallavi douses her in water thereby washing off her vermilion, and everyone gathers upon hearing the commotion. Pallavi lashes out at Prachi for destroying Rhea and Ranbeer’s wedding photographs. Vikram steps forward and asks Prachi for forgiveness. He tells her that he feels responsible for not having stood up for her when she was wrongly accused of having an affair with Siddharth. As Daljeet tries to dry her with a towel, Pallavi scorns Daljeet and Vikram’s allegiance with Prachi. Pallavi declares that since the wearer of vermilion can only be one woman, only Rhea deserves the right to wear it. She tries to demoralise Prachi by telling her that she will continue to behave that way until she leaves the house. Sahana tries to speak up for her but Prachi holds her back. She declares to Pallavi that a day will come when she would admit the fact that Prachi is her daughter-in-law. At the police station, as Rhea cribs to Ranbeer about getting locked up, Ranbeer tells her to calm down and asks the inspector if they can make another call. He then calls Prachi. At the Kohli house, Vikram warns Pallavi that if she misbehaves with Prachi again, he would unequivocally stand up for Prachi. He then picks up his pillow and storms out of the room. Alia walks in and claims to Pallavi that Prachi is manipulating Vikram. Rhea chides Ranbeer for calling Prachi but he persuades her with reason. He then secretly admires Prachi’s ploy.
