However, the duo continues to work together on their joined projects, be it for the ‘Paani Foundation’ or other ventures. Quite similarly, Kiran is looking after the production work of Aamir’s upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Amid this, the duo recently met Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and discussed the filming policies of the Union Territory.
On Saturday, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao paid a visit to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan. They discussed making Jammu and Kashmir one of the finest locations for film production. Taking to his Twitter handle, J&K Governer Sinha shared a picture, posing with Aamir and Kiran. “Met renowned film actor Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao today. Furthermore, Sinha also shared the conversation aimed at promoting Jammu and Kashmir as a renowned filming destination. “The discussion also focused on reviving J&K glory in Bollywood and making it a favourite film shooting destination,” the tweet added.
Well, Aamir is working on the film Laal Singh Chaddha, scouting different locations with the team. On Thursday, the actor visited the Amar Singh college for recce. It was just recently that Aamir wrapped up the portions of Ladakh for the film. And now, he is shooting in Srinagar for some important sequences. In an interview with the media, Aamir shared how he’s enjoying the “beautiful scenery” while shooting at exquisite locations.
In the ongoing filming schedule, Aamir is joined by his co-star Naga Chaitanya who is making his Bollywood debut with Laal Singh Chaddha. Apart from them, the film will also feature Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sharman Joshi in pivotal roles. For those unaware, Laal Singh Chaddha is an official remake of Tom Hanks starrer classic ‘Forrest Gump’.
