Aamir Khan Makes Way For Ranveer Singh’s 83; Laal Singh Chaddha’s Release Date Pushed To Valentine’s Day 2022

It’s raining films in Bollywood. Ever since Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackery announced that theaters will re-open from October 22, filmmakers have been announcing the release dates of their highly anticipated films one-by-one. It all began with Rohit Shetty, who last evening announced the release date of his cop universe Sooryavanshi. And this afternoon, we also learnt about 83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Bunty Aur Babli 2 among other films’ release dates. Now after all this, Aamir Khan has also announced the release date of his most-awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha. As per their latest post, the Kareena Kapoor Khan co-starrer’s release date has been pushed to make way for Ranveer Singh-led ’83.

Earlier, Laal Singh Chaddha – headlined by Aamir and Bebo – was scheduled to release on Christmas, this year. However, a while ago, Ranveer Singh took to social media and announced that the multi-starrer film ’83, helmed by Kabir Khan, will replace Laal Singh Chaddha and release on Christmas. Minutes later, the official social media page of Aamir Khan production announced the film’s release and said that its release date has been pushed to next year and will now arrive in theaters on Valentine’s Day 2022. The note stated that due to the delays faced as a result of the pandemic, makers were unable to release Laal Singh Chaddha in theaters. However, now the film will be released in theaters on Valentine’s Day 2021.

Coming back to Laal Singh Chaddha, the film was shot amid pandemic and Bebo’s 2nd pregnancy. Soon after Kareena had announced the arrival of Baby no 2 in August last year, was often snapped on the sets with Aamir Khan. Well, we just can’t wait for the schedule to begin. Can you?
