Aditya Narayan Reacts To Amit Kumar’s Comment About Indian Idol 12

Indian Idol 12 host Aditya Narayan has recently reacted to the Indian Idol 12 and Kishore Kumar’s son Amit Kumar’s controversy. Aditya hosts the show that recently paid a tribute to the late singer and featured Amit as a special guest on the episode. Recently, in an interview, Aditya Narayan reacted to Amit Kumar’s comment where he criticized the show and said that he wanted to leave in the middle of the show.

After being a guest judge on the special episode, in an interview, Amit had said that irrespective of his own opinion, he was asked to praise all contestants on the show. Aditya responded to the comment in a separate interview that Amit should have expressed his opinions on the set itself.

Recently, Aditya has once again shared his opinion about the issue. He said, “People only complain about those who are in news and are successful, and by the grace of God, this season of Indian Idol has been hugely successful. We are artists, be it a dance reality show or a singing reality show, it is only full of people who are potential art-makers of the future and art is subjective. It is not like you have scored a hundred so you become the best player. Some may like the singing of one person while others may not like it, and everybody is entitled to their opinion. So, all I would say is that we are always trying our best to honour music and musicians and the good part is that the majority of our audience loves our show.”

Aditya Narayan also took a jibe at Amit Kumar in the next episode which welcomed Kumar Sanu, Anuradha Paudwal, and Roop Kumar Rathod. In the video shared by the channel on social media, Aditya is seen asking Kumar Sanu, “Aapne humare contestants ki jo itni taarif ki hai, dil se ki hai ya humare team se kisi ne bola hai karne ko (Was it honest praise or did the Indian Idol team asked you to do it)?” The singer responded, “They are really great singers and performed amazingly. All of them could pass off as playback singers right now. I have never seen so many talented people on one reality show. Each one of them is a diamond.”
