Aggabai Sunbai: Asawari And Shubhra’s Reversed Roles Have Made The Show An Interesting Watch, Here’s Why

It hasn’t been a very long time since Agga Bai Sasubai’s sequel Aggabai Sunbai started airing on Zee Marathi and it’s already our favourite. A lot has changed in the sequel making it quite an interesting watch. What makes it even more engaging is the fact that Asawari and Shubhra’s roles have reversed completely. In Agga Bai Sasubai, Asawari used to be really shy and timid but Shubhra would push her to open up. Now, their roles have reversed completely. Read on.

Remember the time Asawari would hesitate to even cook according to herself? Well, long gone is that Asawari. She is now a strong and flamboyant woman who exudes a lot of power and confidence. But, she was not always like this. She used to be a very timid person afraid to stand up for herself.

All that changed when her daughter-in-law Shubhra came along. She taught Asawari how to fight her fights and be confident. She encouraged her to love herself and to pursue her dreams. Shubhra motivated Asawari to take control over her life and not easily give in to the whims of other people.

Now in Aggabai Sunbai, Asawari has finally become a strong and independent woman. However,  it is Shubhra who has become demure now. Who once could slam Soham for putting a wet towel on the bed cannot even answer back when Soham insults her. She is under-confident,  impressionable and does not stand up for herself anymore.

Saddened by Shubhra’s condition, Asawari keeps trying to push her to do better. She encourages her to lead meetings, join conferences and take charge of big work projects. The way their roles have reversed really gives an interesting twist to the show and makes their dynamics entertaining. We hate seeing Shubhra like this and miss the old boss lady that she was!
