Bob Biswas Trailer OUT: Abhishek Bachchan Looks Unrecognizable As He Plays A Deadly Contract Killer; Chitrangda Singh Is His Biggest Support – WATCH

After teasing fans with exciting posters and a thrilling teaser, the makers of Bob Biswas took the fans by surprise by dropping the official trailer of the film, online. Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Chitrangda Singh, the film will see AB stepping into the shoes of Bengali actor Saswata Chatterjee who portrayed the same character in Kahaani. The first rushes of Zee5 original film are sure to leave you perplexed as Jr Bachchan looks unrecognizable. After coming out of the coma, Bob Biswas is back in the business but there’s a catch. Bob returns to the job but this time his memory is lost and tries to recall that he has a wife, a son and a daughter, who he needs to take care of. The role of his wife is portrayed by none other than Chitrangda Singh, who never leaves Bob’s side.

Soon after he returns home after being in a coma, Bob gets hired by his previous agency for contract killing as they ask him to complete his mission and pick from where he left off. The people from the contract killing company also feel Bob aka Abhishek Bachchan is faking his memory loss drama. Soon after the trailer was released, the actor’s father and megastar Amitabh Bachchan had taken to his Insta handle to shower praises on his son. Penning down a heartfelt note, Big B had said that he’s proud of calling him his son after watching Bob Biswas’s trailer.

Earlier in a conversation, Abhishek Bachchan had opened up about the Zee5 original and said that the film has a very popular character which he had realised after he had signed the film. He had said that once an actor gets into the look, it is half the battle won. He further stated that people around him had approved of the look which was a huge boost for him and his film, Bob Biswas.

Helmed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh, Bob Biswas co-stars Bengali actors Paran Bandopadhyay and Rajatava Dutta. The Zee5 original film will premiere on Zee’s digital platform from December 3, 2021, and is bankrolled by Sujoy Ghosh, Gauri Khan, and Gaurav Verma.
