Bobby Deol Shares Details About ‘Apne 2’ With Brother and Dad, Says ‘It Will Be Very Different’

Bobby Deol is all set to reunite with brother Sunny Deol and his father, Dharmendra, for the sequel of their 2007 movie, Apne.  The film remains very close to his heart and the star often talks about how the Deols are excited to start shooting for the same. In a recent interview, Bobby spilt the beans on the storyline of Apne 2 and mentioned that the movie will be very different. Bobby stated that the team is working on the script and the shooting of the film will begin in 2021-mid. Read on to know what Bobby had to say about the upcoming outing.

Giving away details about Apne 2, Bobby said, “It is going to be a completely different story from 2007’s Apne, but it is going to be definitely based on boxing.” On November 29, Dharmendra took to Twitter and broke the big news. In a tweet, he wrote that the team is set to bring Apne 2 to the audience with the blessing of the well-wishers and fans. “With his blessings, your good wishes, we have decided to give you Apne 2,” he tweeted. Soon, his Twitter thread was flooded with love. When a user named Nazia Hussain wrote, “Congratulations…Great news….kya karan bhi honge is movie me…..Our best wishes and prayers for all the cast and crew of Apne 2. Love u paji,” the Dharam Veer star replied to her by saying, “Yes Nazia, Karan is very much there in Apne ….working hard on the script.”

Even though Bobby Deol did not reveal many details about the film, in another interview, he mentioned that Dharmendra, Sunny and he have innate chemistry, which clicks with the audience. Bobby also added that his dad Dharmendra can’t wait to face the camera and that he has been working since he was a teenager and is a complete workaholic. Bobby remarked that the team will take the utmost precautions and not risk the health of his father while shooting during the pandemic.

On November 30, Bobby dropped the first title poster of Apne 2. Sharing the same, he wrote, “Apne2. It feels good to be home. See you on Diwali 2021!.” The film will be produced by Soham Rockstar Entertainment and will also star Sunny Deol’s son, Karan, who was last seen in the movie, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.
