Bollywood actors have suffered various injuries in the past while shooting for action sequences with high-octane stunts. One of the most remembered incidents occurred with actor Amitabh Bachchan while he was shooing for his film Coolie. The actor was admitted to the hospital for several months after the actor had a near-death experience while executing one of the stunts on the sets. He was reportedly declared clinically dead and had been surviving on a ventilator for days. However, he recovered in August 1982 after undergoing various surgeries and treatments. Actors like John Abraham, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Hrithik Roshan also have a special place in the list as they had all been severely injured while working on one of their films.

Shah Rukh Khan is a Bollywood celebrity who has been injured several times while working on various films. The most remembered injury of the actor occurred when he had been working on the film Happy New Year. SRK injured his shoulder during the shoot and his shoulder had already been in a bad condition after previous surgery. It took the actor a long time to recover from this health issue. Another actor to have a near-death experience on the sets of a film is John Abraham. He was shooting for the film Shootout at Wadala when the incident took place. Anil Kapoor had shot an empty bullet shell at the actor from close proximity, which could have easily left him in a bad condition. However, the actor was lucky to only have a burn mark around his neck region.
Ranveer Singh had also suffered a bad injury when he was shooting for the film Gunday. He fell on his face while performing a song and the fall was quite problematic and could have left the actor paralyzed. He also suffered a bad injury while shooting for the film Lootera which resulted in bed rest for several months.

Hrithik Roshan had injured himself twice while working on the films Agneepath and Bang Bang. He also went through brain surgery when he got a blood clot while shooting for Bang Bang. Salman Khan, on the other hand, suffered a ligament pull while shooting for Wanted, which got worse when he was working on the film Dabangg. Actor Abhishek Bachchan also has a special place in the list as he sustained a major injury while working on Bol Bachchan.
