Radhika
Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay‘s Radhika Sen, played by Swastika Dutta, is one of the most willful, consistent and composed women of all time. Her cleverness to make her family members walk the ramp during a fashion show and executing it perfectly well was impressive and shall remain unbeatable.

Apu
Aparajita Apu‘s Apu, played by Susmita Dey, is another unbelievably stout-hearted and hardy lady. From being absolutely intolerant of the dowry system to being firm and adamant about chasing her dreams and ambition, Apu has constantly inspired us all to never give up on any of our dreams. Whether it is going out of her way to give entrance examinations for jobs or fighting her entire patriarchal family for her rights, the young woman has shown great and unbending vigour.
Rani Rashmoni
Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni‘s Rani Maa, played by Ditipriya Ray, is another marvellous example of the unshakeable strength that women can possess. Born during the British rule of India, she grew up to be an exceptionally courageous and influential woman of her time. Standing up for people’s rights to legalising widow remarriage and from always facing Britishers boldly to picking up guns to fight them, Rani Rashmoni did it all effortlessly at the time when women were not considered to be anything close to a strong part of society.

Jamuna
Jamuna Dhaki‘s Jamuna, played by Sweta Bhattacharya, is another unconventional woman. While we see countless dhakis during various Bengali festivals, watching a woman be a professional dhak player is not the most common thing to anyone of us all. However, despite hailing from a severely rural background and even facing great opposition, Jamuna’s passion and confidence for her profession are highly commendable.
Geet
Geet, played by Chandhi Saha, is another exceptionally bold woman from Jamuna Dhaki who one can never really miss out on. Although her unapologetic approach and straightforwardness can come off as rude, it is a vital part of her personality that has helped her make things right when they are not. Her fearlessness to speak up at discriminative of biased behaviour is truly inspirational.

Rimli
Rimli‘s title character and leading lady Rimli, played by Idika, hails from a rural and agricultural family. Although such sections of society are rarely exposed to modern or progressive outlooks on life, Rimli is an exception. Neither does she ever back down from the toughest of physical challenges nor does she believe in any gender bias when it comes to manual work of any manner.
