Bunty Aur Babli 2: Saif Ali Khan Opens Up On Replacing The OG Bunty Aka Abhishek Bachchan; ‘I Didn’t Have Issues’

Bunty Aur Babli are back. A new revision that will lead to a new face, led by OG Rani Mukerji and Yash Raj Films Treatment. The trailer for the sequel was previously released and received positive feedback on the quirks and punches. If you haven’t seen it yet, Saif Ali Khan plays the role of Rakesh aka Bunty opposite Rani Mukerji’s Babli, also known as Vimmi. But despite being happy with the kids in the home, these artists have to make a return because there is another con duo played by Siddhant Chaturvedi and newcomer Sharvari Wagh who are all set to steal their brand and signature. The movie also shows Pankaj Tripathi as a new police officer in the movie.

As we all know, Saif Ali Khan as replaced Abhishek Bachchan, while Pankaj Tripathi has stepped in Amitabh Bachchan’s shoes. During his latest promotional interview, Saif opened up about replacing AB and said that he didn’t have issues. He told a leading portal that he got a call from Aditya Chopra saying that if he would have any qualms stepping in to play a role that another actor has played. And he said for some reason, they were not able to take the conversation forward. He was asked if he has any issues with it? Saif told them that Hum Tum came to his like that as well and that happens. As long as everyone is clear and there’s no bad blood or no controversies around and you have gone about it the right way which of course they would, then Saif revealed that he didn’t have an issue with that. Saif further revealed that it is a very different role, different than the usual.
