Sara Ali Khan is the actress who created a sensation with her first movie itself. She was introduced as the daughter of Saif & Amrita, but with her first movie, she made her own identity. She instantly became everyone’s favorite with her acting, glamorous looks, fantastic fashion sense, and infectious bubbly nature.
Sara was very good at studying but was a naughty kid. Her mother used to get complaints from her teachers & classmates’ mothers due to the menace she created. Sara Ali Khan was overseas on vacation with her parents as a child. Her parents went into the shop while she, Ibrahim in a pram, and their house help were left outside. She started dancing to amuse herself, and the people started stopping by and gave her some money as well.
She felt so encouraged that she continued with it. When her parents returned, the house help told them that the people found her dance so cute that they gave her money. Then Amrita said they didn’t find her cute. They thought she’s a beggar.

In her school, she used to take part in plays and always had the lead roles. She used to get through monologues with such confidence and expertise that everyone used to be amazed by her performance.
Later after school, she also did a small course in acting and performed in theatres.
Sara was a pure nerd. She used to study so much that her mother used to take her books away and tell her that it’s not normal to study so much. She liked acting, but since she had weight and was a nerd, she thought she’s more suited to academic-driven careers. So, she decided to be a doctor, but then she had a tremor in her hands which made her unfit to be a surgeon.
She took Political science and history after 10th and decided to be a lawyer. She spent her years studying at Columbia and realized that the rush and excitement she felt performing on stage was absent from her life. So, she decided to be an actress.
Sara has PCOD, due to which her hormonal levels were always at play and made her chubby. The situation also made losing weight a considerable task. She was 96 kgs one time. So, when she decided to be an actress, she followed a strict diet and regime to control her weight. She took Kathak classes, did yoga, pilates and went through intense workout sessions. She also started playing lawn tennis with Saif.
She also maintained her diet by making conscious choices. Such as, she replaced pizza with protein-rich food items and had salads instead of chocolates. Her motivation to lose weight and work out was so good that it rubbed off on her mother as well.
For her beauty care, Sara is a huge fan of home remedies applying honey and fruits on her face. She loves having manicures and is obsessed with nail paints and bangles. Once, when she was on sets with Saif when he was shooting Kya Kehna, she went into Zinta’s van and tried all her lipsticks.
She entered the industry intending to be an excellent actress. She doesn’t care about her screen time as long as the roles she’s getting are exciting, challenging, and robust.
When she joined the industry, Saif told her that she should always focus on improving her art. He also gave her the example of Amir Khan and asked her to work and make her own rules like him. She should not make compromises as her choices and roles define her as an actress. Amrita told her to never lose herself as, while acting, a person becomes someone else to do justice to the character.
Kareena and Amrita also support her in her endeavors. Sara looks up to her and hopes to imbibe the professionalism Kareena has. When Kareena didn’t like Sara’s look in the movie Kedarnath, she sent her stylist to do her makeup in Simmba. Amrita, too, made the writers of Simmba rewrite the role so that Sara has a meaty role in the movie.
