Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui Box office Collection Day 5: Ayushmann Khurrana-Vaani Kapoor Starrer starts Achieving Decent Numbers At Box Office

Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor starrer Chandigarh Kare Aashqui have just released five days ago on 10th December. The film started off with a slow grasp by collecting 3.75 cr on an opening day. Slowly, the film took a 30% hike on its first weekend by collecting 4.87 cr on Saturday and 5.91 cr on Sunday.

However, on its first Monday, the film collapsed again by collecting 2.15 cr and 2.18 CR on Tuesday. Looking at the current scenario, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui might lower down in the upcoming week as the film already have Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria’s Tadap as a competition and looking forward the film.

The Abhishek Kapoor directorial film has till now grossed a total number of 18.86 cr in just five days which is not a bad number. According to the Box Office predictions, the film might grow at the Box Office by this upcoming weekend with a 25% – 30 % hike as the film centers on the urban young audience.

Talking about Ayushmann Khurrana’s Box Office trend, the actor’s past releases were not targeted to a mass-centric or a family audience. Significantly, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is also somewhere around this as the film conveys a love story of a Punjabi man (Ayushmann Khurrana) and a Trans-women (Vaani Kapoor).

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Vaani Kapoor, the actress opened up on her trans-women role in the film. The actress said that she was quite scared to take up this role of a Trans-women, her fear was what if the trans community doesn’t accept her. But initially, the trans community really liked her character in the film and also gave positive feedback and heartwarming wishes to the actress.
