Deepika Padukone Follows Katrina Kaif’s Footmarks; Turns Entrepreneur As She Launches Brand Having A Global Appeal

Deepika Padukone is a mega-star who has delivered stellar performances by seamlessly getting into every characters skin be it a Queen or your girl next door having an upward growing Bollywood and Hollywood graph. The actress is now set to launch her own lifestyle brand which will be backed by science while being rooted in India.Deepika Padukone’s has also done multiple closet sales where one could pick items from her closet which did tremendously well and all the money was donated.

Speaking of her upcoming brand Deepika says,”India, I believe, has always been positioned uniquely. While we have tremendous access to the rest of the world, we are a country that is rich in values, culture, and heritage; something we are extremely proud of. Therefore, our endeavour is to build a brand that is rooted in India yet global in its reach and appeal.”

Prior to this Katrina Kaif launched her beauty and skincare brand named Kay Beauty which had a strong mesage of being confident in who you are; “its kay to be you” Alia Bhatt too launched a kids clothing line named ‘Ed-a-mamma’ in 2020.

Bollywood actors aren’t stepping back and are now donning different hats from a producer, to an entrepreneur which is quite commendable that allows them to upskill their craft and grow as an individual as well. On the work front, Deepika will be starring in an upcoming international yet-untitled cross-cultural romantic comedy. STXfilms, a division of Eros STX Global Corporation, announced the company is developing a rom-com for Deepika, who will also produce the upcoming film through her Ka Productions banner.

In Bollywood, Deepika will be seen in Kabir Khan’s ’83, Shakun Batra’s yet-untitled film, the Hindi remake of ‘The Intern’ with megastar Amitabh Bachchand and the actioner Hrithik Roshan. Deepika made her English language film debut as the female lead in ‘XXX: The Return of Xander Cage’, co-starring with Vin Diesel.
