Deepika Padukone’s Performance In 83 Teaser Got Mixed Reactions From Thespian Former Cricketer Kapil Dev’s Family

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are some of Bollywood’s most gorgeous couples. They never fail to catch the attention of the media due to their natural tendencies. They had been in a relationship for about a decade but kept it a secret before the couple tied the knot in the year 2018.

Finally after teasing the fans and lots of anticipation the much-awaited trailer of Ranveer Singh’s starrer sports biopic 83 was released. The film has been helmed by Kabir Khan and starring Ranveer Singh as cricketer Kapil Dev, the movie is based on Team India’s first World Cup victory in the year 1983. The film has a star cast in the form of the finest actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Hardy Sandhu, Ammy Virk. Deepika Padukone will be seen as Romi Bhatia who is Kapil’s wife in the film. There were only a few glimpses of Deepika Padukone in the trailer as she stands by Kapil at difficult times and even at the time of his achievement for the country.

After seeing the trailer, Kapil Dev stated that he had mixed feelings when he initially saw the trailer with his family. Even though the cricketer is unaware of Deepika Padukone’s role as Romi Bhatia’s wife. He went on to describe Ranveer Singh as a terrific performer who had impressed him with his performance in the film.

Ranveer Singh, in one of his interviews, said that Kapil sir and his family are very warm, friendly, and kind individuals. He is thankful to them for their generosity in assisting me with this one-of-a-kind character study. Their generosity touched him, and it’s something that he will never forget. They’ve been kind to him.

On December 24, the film 83 will be released in theatres. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was almost two years late. It was originally scheduled to be released in the summer of 2020.

Talking about Deepika Padukone’s work front, the actress is going to be seen in many films which include the official Hindi remake of the Hollywood film ‘The Intern,’ which has the same title. She will also be seen along with Hritik  Fighter, for the first time. Ranveer Singh is currently shooting in Delhi for his upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
