To join this bandwagon is actress Dia Mirza. She recently shared a video on her Insta account creating the same reel and giving fans a peek at what her 2021 was all about. Beginning the video, January shows Dia Mirza coming out of her room dressed in a pretty lehenga. Her Next picture shows her wearing the to-be- bride sash and she is donning a white gown.
It could have been a picture from her bachelorette party. In the next still, she is seen walking on the beach of Maldives with one of her friends. In the next, she was seen lying on the hospital bed with a ventilator mask on her face.
The next glimpse seemed to be the dearest to her heart because she gave birth to a cute baby boy Ayaan. The further pictures were all about her motherhood and her cute little munchkin. In one of the pictures she also highlighted the part when she walked the ramp for a renowned designer.
In the caption of the reel, Dia mentioned how it was a year filled with joy and a near-death experience. She then mentioned that the lesson learned from all this is that tough times don’t last long. She expressed her gratitude and said to the fans and followers to be thankful every single day.
Dia Mirza was in the headlines during her wedding because she opted to perform her wedding rituals in a very unusual way. She broke all the stereotypes as she said that no Kanyadaan will take place in her wedding. Her rituals were performed by a female priest and fans loved this gesture as she stood against the orthodox norms of the society.
