Mrs Mukhyamantri is a popular political drama on Zee Marathi that is based on the story of Samar and Summi. Their unusual love story is absolute goals as they defied odds to be together. Despite being politically charged, the show has struck a chord with the audiences thanks to the performances given by the stunning star cast. Apart from Amruta Dhongade, Hemangi Kavi, and Vandana Waknis, there’s another star who’s making heads turn with his portrayal of the budding chief minister of the state. By now, you must have guessed that it’s none other than Tejas Barve aka Samar! The 23-year-old actor is a promising talent in the telly industry currently and has impressed everyone with his role in Mrs Mukhyamantri. It wouldn’t be a surprise if we told you that this handsome hunk is an out-and-out filmy guy. Since Tejas plays the role of a politician, the actor has to act prim and proper on the show. Unlike his role on the show, Tejas loves having fun with his co-stars and is usually the one behind all the quirky activities on the sets. Despite being filmy at heart, no one knew that the actor was a die-hard fan of Shah Rukh Khan. Not until he recreated one of King Khan’s hit songs by running in slow motion in a typical Bollywood style while it rained. We like how Tejas took some time out between the takes to channelise his inner SRK. Haha!
