Zain Imam has been all the rage since his last appearance in the ZEE5 Original, Never Kiss Your Best Friend, and even more so now with his latest venture Crashh, where he plays the role of a charming surgeon, Dr Rishabh Sachdev. The dashing actor has done it all in his acting career, whether it’s playing a negative character gone good, a reformed playboy, an adorable boyfriend, a badass friend or even an introvert Doctor. He played all these roles with equal charm and poise.

Zain Imam has been a brilliant actor and there’s no doubt about it. He has proved his mettle time and again with his effortless portrayal of diverse roles, whether it’s the arrogant brat, Yuvraj Luthra in Tashan-e-Ishq or the calm and composed Rishabh Sachdev in Crashh. Tashan-e-Ishq

Despite his debut in 2014, the character of Yuvraj Luthra from Tashan-e-Ishq is that one role that made him the heartthrob of the Indian Television in 2015. Though he played someone very arrogant, there was his charm that the audience couldn’t resist and he ended up being everyone’s favourite. So much so that, his character had a shift from being the main antagonist to someone who changes for good. The serial also starred Jasmin Bhasin and Sidhant Gupta in prominent roles.

Yeh Vaada Raha

Immediately after his stint in Tashan-e-Ishq, Zain was cast in the role of Abeer Dharmadhikari in Zee Tv’s hit show back then, Yeh Vaada Raha. Post a 15-year leap, the handsome actor entered the show portraying the role of a playboy who falls in love with the sweet simple Khushi played by Sonal Vengurlekar. The show also starred Ankush Arora, Krishna Soni, Rinku Karmarkar in significant roles. As we all have a soft corner for bad boys, this role of the actor was also well received among the audience.

Never Kiss Your Best Friend

Zain Imam entered the world of OTT with the Lockdown Special edition of the very popular ZEE5 original Never Kiss Your Best Friend. Here we could see a complete shift from his television roles, where he played a character that started off as an antagonist or a playboy. In this show, the actor could be seen essaying the role of a cute prospective boyfriend. This made-at-home series definitely gave the warm fuzzy feeling that we were all missing during the lockdown, without it being too preachy. The series also starred Anya Singh, Javed Jaffrey, and Niki Walia.

Poison 2

In his second web project, Zain essayed the role of Harshwardhan Oberoi, a part of Josh’s team including Sara, Oscar and himself. Harsh from Poison 2, was a badass character, in love with Sara, who would do anything for his friends. This role really helped Zain showcase his acting range. The series was helmed by Vishal Pandya and it starred Aftab Shivdasani, Raai Laxmi  and Pooja Chopra.

Zain’s latest appearance is the one that deserves all the appraisal. Unlike any of the roles, he had portrayed earlier, here the actor had to essay the role of a charming, introverted surgeon. A calm composed character, who doesn’t like to mingle with people a lot, the character of Dr Rishabh Sachdev is definitely an endearing one. Besides Zain, this gripping series starres Rohan Mehra, Anushka Sen, Aditi Sharma, and Kunj Anand, in lead roles.
