The process of filmmaking is an involvement of a huge amalgamation of different people from different walks who come together to bring the end result of what we watch on the silver screen. Due to the influence of social media in our lives, it is not common these days to read a post somewhere about the greatness of a senior artist coming forward to make someone feel important and praising them for their work, be it a director, technician, or an actor.
Recently, a post on social media posted by the actor SJ Suryah, who’s recently released ‘Maanaadu’, has received rave reviews from critics and fans alike, was a recipient of an important phone call by none other than the Thalaivar, the god of cinema, Rajnikanth. SJ Suryah was quick to post his happiness and appreciation on the Twitter handle and express his gratitude towards Rajnikant for sparing his time and appreciating the actor’s work in the Silambarasan and Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer, under the direction of Venkat Prabhu. The film had released on November 25, 2021, and has been receiving excellent reviews.
The actor shared this on his networking page, and you can simply feel the waves of happiness. He wrote:
“Today I feel that I got the greatest award for my acting skill. Got a call from our SUPERSTAR @rajinikanth sir. “SIR, U Made My decade sir. Ur kind appreciation giving me a great strength to face this journey. Sj Suryah” (sic)
Reading this post of gratitude, we are very sure many more superstars will come forward to praise and encourage young talents on their acting skills, and we guess this is the only way a baton gets passed from generation to generation. In fact, this becomes the greatest tool for upcoming actors to brush up and excel in their art.
Rajnikanth himself is riding on the super success of ‘Annaatthe’, which proved to be the first successful venture post the Covid lockdown, and theatres running houseful is the most celebrated actor in Indian Cinema. The film fraternity, fans, and all celebrities love Thalaivar to the core, not just because of his great acting skills, but more because the greatness of the man lies in his simplicity, humbleness and down-to-earth nature.
