7 Characters Who Faked Love Affairs For Their Hidden Agendas Like Siddharth Of Jamai 2.0

A lot of times we have come across shows and films, which show characters faking love affairs to fulfil their agendas. Whether it is done for a good cause or a bad one, these fictional relationships become the reason one gets trust issues. Nail Polish

Nail Polish is a courtroom thriller about a dark and riveting case of multiple murders of migrant children. The accused of the case is Veer Singh (Manav Kaul). During the proceeding, we get to see a secret from Veer Singh’s past, when he was a security officer in Kashmir. He was after a businessman who was funding terrorists. To get closer to the businessman, Veer pretended to be Ranjeet and started a love affair with a local woman, named Charu Raina. This event became one of the darkest points in Charu’s life, while also affecting Veer’s court proceedings.

The Casino

Starring Sudhanshu Pandey, Karanvir Bohra, and Mandana Karimi, The Casino is a thriller series on ZEE5. In The Casino, Mandana Karimi plays the role of Rehana, a woman who wants complete control of the casino in the picture. To get what she wants, she fakes a love affair with Vicky Singh Marwah (Karanvir Bohra), who is the son of the late owner of the casino.

Lahore Confidential

Lahore Confidential is a spy thriller, with hints of romance. It revolves around the story of Ananya (Richa Chadha), a RAW agent, who is tasked with faking a love affair with a Pakistani national, Rauf (Arunoday Singh), to get information about a terrorist attack that has been planned against India. However, this plan overturns against Ananya, as Rauf was also revealed to be using Ananya as a pawn for his agenda.

Naxalbari

Naxalbari revolves around the story of an STF agent, Raghav (Rajeev Khandelwal), who is on a mission to prevent a Naxal uprising in the village of Gadchiroli. He meets a woman, named Ketaki (Tinaa Datta), and the two get romantically involved with each other. However, it is later revealed that Ketaki is one of the Naxalites who is trying to thwart Raghav’s plans against the uprising.

Rustom

Starring Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’cruz, the film Rustom is based on a true story, of when a Naval officer killed his wife’s lover. In the film Rustom, we see that Rustom’s wife, Cynthia (Ileana D’cruz) is having an extra-marital affair with Vikram (Arjan Bajwa). After Rustom (Akshay Kumar) kills him and is in his court proceedings, it is revealed that Vikram never really liked Cynthia and was faking a love affair only to get back at Rustom.

Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari

Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is a rom-com, starring Diljit Dosanjh, Manoj Bajpayee, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Manoj Bajpayee plays the role of Mangal, a detective, who spies on ‘eligible’ bachelors, and foils their weddings after revealing secrets about their misdeeds to the bride’s family. Since Suraj (Diljit Dosanjh) happens to be one of his ‘victims’, he vows revenge on Mangal and fakes a love affair with his sister, Tulsi (Fatima Sana Sheikh). However, Suraj eventually falls for Tulsi while faking love.

Jamai 2.o

Jamai 2.0 is soon going to get its season 2, coming on ZEE5. Starring Ravi Dubey, Nia Sharma, and Achint Kaur, season 2 of Jamai 2.0 will continue the story of Siddharth seeking revenge from DD Patel. In season one of Jamai 2.0, we saw how Siddharth, to get closer to DD for his revenge, faked a love affair with her daughter, Roshni. The saga will continue in Jamai 2.0 season 2, premiering on 26 February on ZEE5.
