Jothe Jotheyali 22 October 2021 Written Update: Anu and Aryavardhan stay at Subbu’s house

In the previous episode of Jothe Jotheyali, as a surprise, Aryavardhan takes Anu to her parents’ house. Subbu and Pushpa are elated by Anu’s arrival. Aryavardhan tries to refuse the sweets offered by Pushpa, leaving Anu surprised. Later, Anu talks to Ramya about how she is unable to share her desires with Aryavardhan.

In the next episode of Jothe Jotheyali, the residents of the chawl gather at Anu’s house and start offering sweets to Aryavardhan. When he hesitates, everyone starts insisting that he accept the same as it is their form of showering love on the people they care for. Anu arrives at the scene and tries to reason with the others and asks them to leave the sweets behind so that Aryavardhan can enjoy the same later. When Aryavardhan suffers from stomach aches, Pushpa prepares a decoction to help him. When Anu talks about taking Aryavardhan to a doctor, Pushpa tells Anu the importance of the decoction and makes him drink it. Aryavardhan makes funny faces while drinking it due to its bitter taste.

Aryavardhan talks about staying at Subbu’s house as it’s already late, but Anu continues to worry about his health. Subbu and Pushpa express their happiness about Anu and Aryavardhan staying back for the night. Anu takes Aryavardhan out on a walk and tries to reason with him and urges him to leave as he may not be able to sleep in the chawl’s environment without the comfort he is used to. Aryavardhan tells Anu that he is ready to adjust for a night, as she, as his wife has been adjusting at his house. The chawl residents look through their windows and overhear Aryavardhan and Anu’s conversation and delight in hearing their romantic talks.

Anu points out to Aryavardhan how everyone is listening to them intently and to tease everyone he starts talking about going on a honeymoon, and Anu insists on taking their family and the chawl residents along with them. Later, everyone feels shy about seeing Anu and Aryavardhan’s closeness. At home, Subbu searches for a ‘lungi’ to offer to Aryavardhan. They then decide to offer Anu and Aryavardhan their house to sleep while they sleep outside. Aryavardhan thanks Subbu when he offers him a t-shirt and ‘lungi’ to wear for the night.

Harshavardhan gets a little upset when Anu tells him that she and Aryavardhan will be staying at Subbu’s house for the night. Harshavardhan tells Sharada Devi how Anu’s absence creates an emptiness in the house and talks about how he will miss her. Sharada Devi contemplates how Harshavardhan is unaware that apart from Rajanadini, he feels connected to only Anu. At Subbu’s house, Aryavardhan wears the clothes offered by Subbu, to which Anu praises him. Later, Anu bursts out laughing when Aryavardhan jokes about how after wearing a ‘lungi’ one doesn’t need an air conditioner.
