Kamali Weekly Recap Of 26 Sep-2 Oct 2019: Anika’s Evil Plan Puts Kamali’s Life In Danger

Previously on Kamali, Tara invites Kamali to her house to discuss something, much to everyone’s surprise. Rachana and Hasini, assuming that this is good news call up Rishi and ask him to come home. However, it turns out that Tara still hates Kamali for her low-class status and tries to buys her off so that she will let go of Rishi. Kamali, disheartened, turns down this offer after being taunted about her nameless father.

Unfortunately, Kamali leaves the Nanda house before Rishi arrives there. While he assumes that Tara treated Kamali well, he is soon shocked to learn the truth. The next day, Ningi cannot believe that Kamali left to their village without informing her and follows suit. Luckily, she finds Kamali just in time and rebukes her for leaving her best friend alone. When Kamali learns that Ningi was studying just for her sake, they both return to Maarapur.

Gauri, who learns about Kamali’s visit is a little late in preventing her from seeing her deceased grandfather’s photo. In disbelief, Kamali screams at her mother for hiding such a big secret from her. By this time, Rishi finds out that the girls have returned to the village and goes to Maarapur himself. Kamali then goes to the grave and soon Rishi arrives there with her grandfather’s bicycle, which she lost. After her return from the cemetery, Kamali has a fight with her mother and demands to know who her father is.

1. Angry with this question, Gauri tells Kamali that for their life, her father doesn’t exist

2. Kamali tries to coax her mother to tell her about her father’s identity but no matter how much she tries, Gauri doesn’t reveal the truth

3. When Kamali directly asks Gauri if her father is dead, the latter slaps her hard on the face

4. In a fit of rage, Kamali thanks her mother for at least revealing that her father is alive and storms out of the house

5. Later at night, Kamali apologises to Gauri in her mind but is determined to find out who her father is. For the same, she looks through Gauri’s things to get any kind of clue

6. The next day, after seeing Kamali’s ill-health, Rishi decides to help her complete the village pooja along with the other girls for her

7. By this time, Anika, who goes to Kamali’s house looks through the things in the house and shocked to find a half torn picture of her father

8. Much to Kamali’s surprise, everyone soon learns what Rishi meant by helping her; he carries her with the ‘Kalash’ on her head and completes the rituals

9. Elsewhere, Gauri is thrilled to see Chandru, who applies kumkum on her forehead after so many years

10. Just as she decides to tell Chandru about their child, Anika and her sidekicks arrive at the temple

11. Considering this as a bad omen, Gauri makes herself scarce just before Anika reaches her father

12. Soon, Anika bombards Chandru with questions about the photo, causing him and Gauri (who is standing at a distance) to be shocked

13. At the grounds near the temple, Rishi lets Kamali win in the ‘lemon-and-spoon’ competition and is happy to see her smile later

14. After the festivities when Kamali returns home, she and Gauri make up for the fight that happened before and decide to have a meal together

15. As the visarjan ritual approaches, Kamali, Ningi and the other girls go to the lake to send away the Kalashs in the water

16. Anika, however, decides to put her school-swimming lessons to good use to ensure Kamali doesn’t survive this time

17. Kamali and Ningi start taking the dips as per rituals soon and the former constantly keeps smiling at Rishi while doing so

18. However, in the third dip, Anika who is already in position grabs hold of Kamali’s neck and locks her underwater

19. While Kamali doesn’t come out of the water for a few seconds, Gauri arrives there and isn’t happy to see Rishi

20. As the priest asks everyone to pray for a good year and blessings, Rishi shouts out loud that Kamali still hasn’t surfaced after her third dip

21. Everyone present there becomes frantic with this news and look around for her
