Lahore Confidential: Meet The Cast And Characters Of This New Spy-Thriller Series

While enmity between India and Pakistan never gets away from the limelight, the brotherhood and feelings people share across these countries often remain understated. There have been many such real-life stories that have proved love travels across all boundaries overlooking each and every border. In a similar instance, ZEE5’s upcoming original film Lahore Confidential will be a fictionalized-yet-an-exemplary story exploring cross-border love.

The film has been creating a buzz for a while and its trailer too created a huge wave of excitement among the masses. Directed by Kunal Kohli, the film promises to have an intriguing storyline. The film features Richa Chadha, Arunoday Singh and Karishma Tanna in key roles and will be seen revolving around special force teams and their cross-border missions.

Ananya played by Richa Chadha

Ananya is a next-door Indian housewife who deals with the trauma of her divorce, leading a typical life every day. However, her life turns upside down when her love for Urdu poetry lands her on a secret intelligence mission in Pakistan. The mission knocks on Ananya’s door as a “second chance” which changes her life completely. Eventually, fulfilling the duties of a spy, she also falls in love which becomes the crux of Lahore Confidential.

Rauf played by Arunoday Singh

Rauf is an ISI agent of Pakistan who’s also a part of a secret mission. His character is full of charm and power which sets him apart in this spy thriller. Rauf’s interest in poetry adds a charm to his tough-looking personality. Amidst the mission, he falls in love with Ananya and their blossoming romance will unfold as a twist in the film.

Yukti played by Karishma Tanna

Yukti’s character has different layers and is known for her impactful strategies in leading a mission. A dedicated RAW agent who can go to any lengths to accomplish the mission, Yukti’s character will have a variety of shades and will bring out a ton of surprising elements in the story.

These interesting characters and their expressive personas are enough to keep us glued to our screens.
