Late Dilip Kumar’s Wife Saira Banu Discharged From Hospital; Family Friend Faisal Farooqui Reveals Her Being Out Of Danger

Saira Banu lost her husband and legendary actor Dilip Kumar in July 2021 after his long ailment and has been right by his bed side in his last days and it has been a bumpy ride for the actress since. The 77-year-old actress was admitted in Hinduja hospital on August 28 for having high Blood pressure, feeling breathless, and high sugar. Saira was admitted in the non-COVID facility in Khar, Mumbai. Now giving an health update on Saira, their family friend Faisal took to social media and revealed that the yesteryear’s actress has been discharged from the hospital and is now doing well.

Faisal Farooqui shares the update about Banuji’s health with PTI and says, “Saira ji is doing well. She’s discharged and is back home. Resting. Thank you for your prayers”

The family doctor Nitin commented on not Saira Banu allowing to do angiography tests and told Times of India that,”Saira-ji is not battling depression, plus she is not being difficult at all which in other words means she is not avoiding angiography. The angiography, as I told you last time, will be done at a later date after we control her diabetes. So where’s the question of her saying ‘no’ to it?”

Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar got married 11th October 1966 after acting in multiple films together and creating being a fan favourite couple of the golden era in films like Sagina and Gopi. Saira Banu’s husband and screen icon Dilip Kumar died on July 7 at the age of 98 after a long ailment.

Saira Banu made her acting debut and shared screen space with Shammi Kapoor in the 1961 film Junglee and went on to appear in movies such as Bluff Master, Jhuk Gaya Aasman, Aayi Milan Ki Bela, Pyar Mohabbat, Victoria No. 203, Aadmi Aur Insaan, Resham Ki Dori, Shagird, Diwana, Aayi Milan Ki Bela, Pyar Mohabbat, Aadmi Aur Insaan, and Resham Ki Dori.
