Maari 07 June 2023 Written Update: Maari Risks Her Life for Jagdish

In the previous episode of Maari, Surya takes Maari to a restaurant to eat food and tells her the significance of the menu card. Citing Maari’s ignorance of the hotel food, Surya orders Chinese food for himself and Maari. He guides Maari to eat noodles when she struggles with it. At the restaurant, Surya unexpectedly meets his friend, Aravind, and his wife and introduces them to Maari. Maari attracted to Aravind’s child carries her in the arms. Maari is deeply hurt when Aravind’s wife snatches the child and criticises her for being infertile. Sankarapandi eavesdrops on Jagdish as he speaks to Shridhar, the auditor. Jagdish is awestruck when Shridhar tells him about Sankarapandi’s visit and Tara’s threats to transfer the property in Surya’s name. Surya looks for Maari when he fails to find Maari in the room.

Surya is relieved to find Maari and apologises to her for neglecting her. Meanwhile, Hasini arrives at the hotel and bribes the waiter, Shakti to offer Surya and Maari a special drink. Accordingly, the waiter abides by Hasini’s words. In the hotel room, Maari gets nervous to see Surya admiring her. On the pretext of offering a complimentary drink, Shakti offers the special milk to Surya.  Back home, Jagdish hurls away the milk provided by Tara and lashes out at her for speaking to Shridhar about transferring the property to Surya. Surya feels strange after drinking the milk and tries to get close to Maari. Later, Maari gets an intuition that Jagdish’s life is in danger and informs Surya about the threat to Jagdish’s life.

In the next episode of Maari, Tara watches cooly as Jagdish suffers a heart attack and gasps for life in front of her. A vicious Tara spills the pills and tramples them under her feet but refuses to give them to Jagdish.  As Jagdish suffers in pain, Tara leaves him to die. Tara stages an act when she hears Surya and Maari’s voice.  Thereafter, Maari and Surya rush an unconscious Jagdish to the hospital. Tara approaches Devi’s picture and snatches the nuptial chain from her neck and throws it on her face. Maari and Surya are shocked when the doctor states that Jagdish has suffered a massive heart attack and is critical. Maari prays to Lord Ganesh to save Jagdish. She then takes the sacred ash and applies it to Jagdish’s forehead. Devi’s spirit appears and is shattered to see Jagdish’s condition.

Maari comforts Devi’s spirit and reassures her that Jagdish will recover. Maari is terrified when Devi’s spirit informs her that the God of death coming to take Jagdish’s life. Maari is rendered speechless and does not know what to do Unable to see Devi’s spirit weeping for Jagdish, Maari cuts her wrist in order to save Jagdish. As soon as this happens, the God of death retreats back. Devi’s spirit panics when Maari faints. Surya is stunned to see an unconscious Maari, on entering the room and summons the doctor. On regaining consciousness, Jagdish thanks Maari for saving his life.
