Mahesh Babu To Collaborate With Madhu Mantena For ‘Ramayana 3D’? Find Out

Madhu Mantena’s upcoming magnum opus Ramayana 3D starring Deepika Padukone has already left fans excited. Now, another piece of good news has surfaced for all the ardent fan who are eagerly waiting to watch the film on the silver screen. As per an entertainment portal, SPYder actor Mahesh Babu has been approached by producer Madhu Mantena for his upcoming venture. It Is reported that Madhu Mantena was shocked when Om Raut announced Adipurush featuring Prabhas in the lead role. After Om Raut’s announcement, Madhu immediately got his team to contact financer to bankroll his project. Krissh star Hrithik Roshan has been apparently asked to play the role of the main antagonist Raavan whereas Deepika Padukone will be seen playing the role of Sita. As per a source, Madhu wanted to cast a South face to play the main protagonist Lord Ram.

There are reports that say that he had previously approached Prabhas to play Lord Ram in it. However, the actor had already said yes to Adipurush for the same role. Hence, Madhu went to another Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu. It has also been revealed that Mahesh has liked the script and has shown interest in it, but has not given his confirmation to take up the role just yet. Madhu feels that the Telugu superstar has the innocence to justify the role of Shri Ram.
