Manoj Bajpayee built a mark for himself in the business in just a few years. With each of his films, he demonstrated his theatrical ability, and he has progressed a long way to achieve the notoriety he now enjoys. The Gangs of Wasseypur star lately turned to Instagram to take a stroll down memory lane and recollect about one of his older flicks, Zubeidaa.
On January 19th, the actor published a montage on his Instagram account to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the movie, in which he co-starred with Karisma Kapoor. The actor shared a montage of flashback photos that one of his fan accounts had submitted. “21 years of Zubeidaa,” read the fan page. “Hey Victor with a heart emoji,” the fan page said, referencing Manoj Bajpayee’s figure from the film. “A historic treasure that was absolutely sublime,” they stated in praise of the picture.
Shyam Benegal directed and Khalid Mohammed wrote Zubeidaa, a 2001 Indian musical tragedy movie. In major parts, it features Karisma Kapoor, Rekha, Manoj Bajpayee, Surekha Sikri, Rajit Kapoor, Lillete Dubey, Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, and Shakti Kapoor. The film’s ambient soundtrack and music were composed by A.R.Rahman.

Zubeidaa tells the narrative of a young Muslim woman who married a Sikh king and became his second wife. Her odd relationship with her husband, as well as her inner demons, force her to make a decision that would have catastrophic ramifications for everyone involved. Maharaja Vijayendra Singh alias Victor is played by Manoj Bajpayee in the film. On the professional front, Manoj Bajpayee has completed filming for Raam Reddy’s yet-to-be-titled movie.
