Meet 03 August 2023 Written Update: Sumeet hides Priya in Shagun’s house

In the latest episode of Meet, Raunak, having been put on the fast track for his case, protests his innocence while Shagun tries to calm him down. Poonam slaps Sumeet for not being able to save Raunak and threatens to reveal everything to him if she doesn’t intervene. Sumeet, on the other hand, sees this as an opportunity for Raunak to reveal the truth. Poonam is furious at Sumeet for ruining their family’s happiness and refuses to accept her as her daughter-in-law. Shlok tries to reason with his mother, but she remains adamant about getting him married to someone else. Sumeet decides to use Priya to prove her relationship with Shlok and manages to distract Shagun. Meanwhile, Raj manipulates Raunak in jail, convincing him to believe that Shagun was trying to escape the country. Sumeet messages Raj, informing her about Raunak’s resistance and her plan to handle the situation. At the Choudhary mansion, the Mehendi function takes place, and the daughters-in-law talk negatively about Sumeet. However, Shlok stands by Sumeet, expressing his trust that she will prove their marriage. At the police station, Sumeet warns Raunak about poison in the food Shagun sent. Raunak dismisses her warning initially but soon feels the effects of the reactive medicine added by Sumeet. In Shagun’s absence, Priya hides while Shagun becomes suspicious about the medicines she finds. The events escalate, tensions rise, and the battle for truth and justice continues to unfold.
