In a recent episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla 2020 auditions, Samadipta Mukherjee gave a spell-binding performance. She chose to sing the popular Bengali song, ‘Bajlo Tomar Alor Benu.’ Every Bengali person who watched the performance must have felt their sweet old Pujo nostalgia hit them at the right spots when she sang the song.

‘Bajlo Tomar Alor Benu’ is a famous Bengali song that is played at the beginning of and during Durga Pujo festivities. It represents the welcoming and arrival of Ma Durga to people’s lives when Durga Pujo approaches. Samadipta managed to grab everybody’s attention with the right notes and tunes of the song during her performance. It was an ear-pleasing performance, to say the least.

Among all the beautiful performances we get to watch from such talented singers, Soumyadeep was another hit on that episode. Soumyadeep chose the song ‘Mitwa’ from the film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna to sing for his audition performance. His performance too was one of the best, even the crowd could not stop cheering him.

The judges were extremely impressed by his talent. The original song was sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Shafqat Amanat Ali. But there is really no doubt that Soumyadeep swooped everyone off their feet with his captivating voice and attention to tone accuracy. It was a delight to watch him, just as much as all the other stunning singers that have been on the show.
