“I have learned a lot from Ravi Kaka. Even though I have worked with him in many films, I became very close to him while playing the role of Asawari. Just like the way Asawari would take care of ajoba on-screen, I too would take care of him (Ravi Patwardhan) off-screen” Nivedita Said.

She also revealed that he loved his work a lot. While sharing a small anecdote on Ravi Patwardhan, she said “One day while shooting, he fell down and fractured his leg. He must have been in a lot of pain, even then he remained calm. He called his doctor and son and enquired about the ambulance. He always had a clarity of thoughts..”
She expressed how lucky she feels to have worked with him on this (Aggabai Sasubai) serial and that she has learned a lot from him. She revealed that he knew a lot of Urdu Shayari and that he was a ‘brilliant man’ who knew a lot of poems, was well learned, and could recite a lot of shlokas.
She also revealed how he would be on the sets of Aggabai Sasubai. “At times, we would say no to eating something or would feel like eating from outside but he would never be picky. He would eat whatever was provided by the production without being too fussy,” she added.
“I have done so many scenes with kaka, we used to share such a great bond, and there is so much that this generation and the upcoming generation can learn from him. At least we used to be able to hear his voice over the phone but even that cannot happen now. The entire team (of Aggabai Sasubai) is going to miss him a lot” she said.
