We’re back with some exciting recipes for all healthy eaters who aren’t so much into cooking! Here are three easy recipes for a healthy meal that you can try out during your time at home while also having a fun experience of cooking!

Dates Laddoo

Firstly, take a cup of seedless dates and blend the same to a coarse paste. Keep it aside. Take a large vessel heat and add ghee, almonds, cashews, dates and dry coconut. Roast the same on low flame till the nuts are crunchy. Add a spoon of poppy seeds. Add in crushed dates and mix well. Now, fry the same on medium flame while mixing the dates with a spatula until the dates start releasing oil. Turn off the flame and allow to cool for a minute. Immediately start making the laddoos before it can cool down for better consistency. Your laddoos are ready!
Beetroot Smoothie
This one is easy to make as well as healthy! Take a small red beet and make sure to peel it. Take one apple, a stalk of celery, carrot juice, almond milk, frozen sliced peaches and a piece of ginger. Roughly chop the beetroot, apple, and celery. Add all ingredients in a blender until it is a smooth paste. Taste the smoothie and see if the sweetness is to your liking. Add a little more fruit if you want something sweeter. Serve immediately!

Pachai Kulambu

Here is a healthy curry that can be eaten with chapatis or even rice!
Soak green gram in water for about 5 to 6 hours or overnight before you can cook it. The first step is to put it in the pressure cooker. Add water and a pinch of salt and cook for two to three whistles. Meanwhile, soak tamarind in water and squeeze out the juice. Add some water to the same. Chop onion, garlic and tomato into small pieces. Now, take a vessel and add oil. when it is hot add mustard, fenugreek, asafoetida and fry it slightly. Now, add chopped onion, garlic flakes and curry leaves. Add tomato pieces and fry till it mashed well. Finally add the tamarind water, sambar powder, turmeric powder and salt. Stir well. Allow it to boil. Now, add the cooked green gram slightly mashed and allow it to boil. Your dish is ready!
