In a turn of recent events, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR has landed into a legal environment. On January 6, 2022, a Public Interest Petition (PIL) was filed against the makers of the film. The megablockbuster film is the most anticipated film of the year and it was recently postponed by the makers because of the rising Omicron cases. The film is already surrounded by hurdles because of its release date and now another hurdle has come in its way.
The SS Rajamouli film has landed into legal trouble. Reportedly, a petition has been filed by a student belonging from the West Godavari district. In the Telangana High Court, the student is seeking that the movie must not be given a Censor Certificate. The student reportedly wants that the film distorts the history of the two freedom fighters and also that it should not be granted its certificate.
Reportedly, the case was heard by Justice Ujjal Bhuyan and Justice Venkateswara Reddy. Also, the judges have reportedly decided to hold the next hearing for the film and decide a verdict for it as well. Also, on the other hand, the team of RRR is yet to issue a statement about the same.
For the unknown, in RRR, Ram Charan and Jr NTR will be seen playing the role of Alluri Sita Ramaraju, a tribal hero according to history and the latter will essay the role of Komaram Bheem. Reportedly the makers of the film have postponed the film because of the rising Omicron cases and soon they will announce the new date via their social media handles. After RRR, many films had joined the bandwagon namely, Prithviraj, Radhe Shyam and others.
RRR also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in the lead roles. The flick is much awaited by us all. Also, fans had expressed their disappointment after their film was postponed and now a new update is eagerly awaited by the audiences.
