Patralekhaa plays the role of the ghost, Siddhi aka Jaanu, in the film. Badnaam Gali

Badnaam Gali is a satirical comedy film, starring Patralekhaa, Divyenndu Sharma, and Dolly Ahluwalia in the lead roles. The film revolves around the subject of surrogacy, and deals with it and society’s views around it, in a funny way. Badnaam Gali narrates the story of a woman, Nayonika, played by Patralekhaa, who is unmarried, and yet is pregnant, which is why she is constantly subjected to taunts and questions are raised on her character, by society. Divyenndu plays the role of Randeep, a young guy, who enters her life and begins understanding her, unlike the society.

Forbidden Love – Arranged Marriage

Forbidden Love is an anthology of four short films, one of which is Arranged Marriage. Starring Patralekhaa, Ali Fazal, and Omkar Kapoor, the film revolves around the story of Neel, who is in love with Dev, but due to societal pressure, gets married to Dev’s sister, Keya. Patralekhaa plays the role of Keya, an orthodox woman, who thinks of her husband and her brother’s homosexuality as a disease that she can cure.

Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu

Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu, the new web series on ZEE5, is the latest addition to Patralekhaa’s brilliant performances. Also starring Parth Samthaan, Arslan Goni, and Chandan Roy Sanyal, the show revolves around the story of a gangster, Nawab (Parth Samthaan), who falls in love with a Bollywood actress, Laila (Patralekha). This love brings a lot of chaos and action in Nawab’s life, as even the gangster who mentored him, Lala (Arslan Goni), is in love with Laila, and aims to win her over.
