With Samyuktha’s retaliation to Sharmilla’s plan, Avantika has clearly accepted defeat and gone back to her house. In her absence, Sharmilla has opened the gates of Kalappurakkal to her sister-in-law and criminal mastermind Soudhamini (Maneesha). In such a short span of time, Soudhamini has entertained us with some of the most intense moments on the Malayalam serial Pookkalam Varavayi. 1. Soudhamini mocks Sharmilla for not being in power

Sharmilla boasts about her authority in the house to Soudhamini but she is quick to figure out that Samyuktha is the one who is ruling them. Soudhamini gave us one of the best moments on the show when she starts mocking Sharmilla for not being able to control her sons. Unfortunately for Sharmilla, Abhimanyu walks in with a doll for Samyuktha, making her hear another earful from Soudhamini.

2. Soudhamini introduces Raghavan and Shyamala

After figuring out that Samyuktha’s ex-boyfriend is in Paris, Saoudhamini devises a plan to stop her drama. She introduces Raghavan and Shyamala, two NRIs from her distant relation to mock Samyuktha. Raghavan tells Samyuktha that there is no one by the name of Indrajith in Paris. Samyuktha gets worried as Raghavan ruins all her build-up about Indrajith in front of Abhimanyu.

3. Soudhamini finds out that Samyuktha is tricking them

Unlike her predecessor Avantika, Soudhamini is not one to believe all of Samyuktha’s lies. She figures out that Samyuktha is hiding something and her suspicions soon turn outright. Intense moments follow when Soudhamini eavesdrops on Samyuktha’s conversation with Sruthi. She confronts Samyuktha with the truth as Soudhamini figures out that it is Sruthi who is pretending to be Indrajith.

4. Soudhamini’s expensive plan becomes a headache for Sharmilla

Just like Samyuktha suspected, Raghavan and Shyamala were paid actors who Soudhamini had hired to ruin her plans. Things take a quick turn when Sharmilla is made to pay the actors a lumpsum amount for their services.
