Raj Kundra Pornography Case: High Court Rejects Gehana Vasisth’s Pre-arrest Bail Application; SC Grants Her Protection From Arrest

Alot of names have been coming up in the pornography case and alot of lights are being dimmed revealing the real faces under the racket. One such case was Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra who was arrested in July. Now third FIR has been filed against Gehna Vashisht and the SC has ordered to not arrest her but also Gehana has to co-operate with the police in all their investigations.

Advocate Ajit Wagh who’s representing Gehana, contended comprising justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and BR Gavai. The prosecution had said they need custody citing a pornography racket had to be revealed. He added that the first FIR was based on a tip and Yasmin was caught.

Wagh also looked into the larger on-going investigation and also shared that the person who signed the petition was Yasmin’s friend and Gehana had been in the custody for 133 days. The charge sheet has been filed in the first FIR and all the materials are similar without any differences as such.

After listening to both the parties, the court has decided that Gehana will not be arrested in the third FIR. She should also co-operate and join the investigation whenever required without hesitation.

The Bombay High Court had rejected the anticipatory bail plea filed by Vasisth and had moved the anticipatory bail application apprehending arrest in the FIR registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. This included outraging modesty of woman, sale of obscene material. Today, the top court stayed the Bombay High Court order which had rejected the anticipatory bail plea filed by her.

The case was filed after the police got a complaint claiming that Vasisth was the director of porn films who lured women by showing money to act in “obscene film videos”. The woman, who had made the compliant, alleged that she was coerced to act in obscene videos for Vasist’s films, which were uploaded on a mobile application.

Rak Kundra was too arrested for the same and he recieved bail approximately a sunrise ago. Sherlyn Chopra also took a dig at Shilpa Shetty who’s Raj Kundra’s wife the statement which said that she wasn’t aware about anything and it was equally a shocking news just like it was for everyone else.
