Mega power actor Ram Charan hoisted the country’s flag here on Wednesday, 26th January to commemorate the 73rd Republic Day. At the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, the ‘Chirutha’ star was joined by his uncle, Telugu producer Allu Aravind.
On Republic Day, Ram Charan is seen unraveling and honouring the national flag in photos distributed to the media.
He attended their famed Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust’s Republic Day rites in casual dress. The ‘RRR’ star paid tribute to the nation’s liberation heroes and wished his supporters a happy Republic Day. He has won multiple honours, particularly three Filmfare Awards and two Nandi Awards, making him one of India’s highest-paid actors.
He frequently hosts blood donation drives. Through Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, Charan and his father Chiranjeevi introduced oxygen banks on May 26, 2021. They began in the Andhra Pradesh provinces of Anantapur and Guntur and were later expanded to other parts of India, including Telangana. During the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in India, these were due to be released due to a scarcity of oxygen cylinders, ventilation systems, and concentrators.
On the work front, he is appearing with N. T. Rama Rao Jr. as Alluri Sitarama Raju in S. S. Rajamouli’s directorial RRR (2021).
The third wave of the Covid pandemic forced the postponement of Ram Charan’s epic opus ‘RRR,’ which was set to hit theatres in January. The release date for Rajamouli’s directorial debut is currently unknown.
