Rhea Chakraborty Bail Plea To Be Heard Today

Rhea Chakraborty’s bail plea is all set to be heard by a special court today, along with another bail plea filed by her brother Showik. The Bollywood actress was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday for providing drugs to deceased actor Sushant Singh Rajput and her initial bail plea was rejected by the magistrate court. She is currently in 14-day judicial custody. The actress had spent Tuesday night at the NCB office and was then transferred to Byculla Jail.

Rhea, who was in a relationship with Rajput, was also recently quizzed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). An FIR lodged in Patna by the late actor’s father alleges that the actress was responsible for his suicide. In the FIR, she has also been accused of money laundering, which has brought up an Enforcement Directorate (ED) enquiry on Rhea and her family. That’s three central agencies that are investigating the actress now.
