According to reports, he was riding his 1160 cc sports bike from Raidurgam Cable Bridge to Ikea when he skidded and fell. He was taken to Medic over Hospital while unconscious and suffered injuries to his eyes, chest, and abdomen, according to doctors, but he is now out of danger. The accident was caused by over speeding and negligence, according to Hyderabad police. On Saturday, September 11, a case was filed against Sai Dharam Tej at the Raidurgam Police Station in Hyderabad under sections 336 and 279 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act, according to a report.

It was reported that he was wearing a good helmet, which prevented him from suffering any head injuries. In a short time, Sai Dharam Tej has amassed a large following.
