Shahid Kapoor With Ali Abbas Zafar All Set To Release On A Digital Platform? – REPORTS

Shahid Kapoor recently took to his Instagram and announced that the actor has already started shooting for his next film with Ali Abbas Zafar from November 12.

Since then, there have been rumours that the picture is being produced as a digital platform original project. However, according to the reports, it has learned exclusively that this as-yet-unnamed movie is being developed for the big screen and would be Shahid Kapoor’s next film after Jersey. It is scheduled to be released in the second part of next year.

The team have been filming nonstop in an Abu Dhabi property as the tale revolves around a nightclub. It has been announced by the sources that if the film does succeed at the box office, they are planning to make it as a franchise.   According to leading publications, the film is a suspenseful thriller that is shaping out quite well. Aside from Shahid, the other cast members have been swept under the rug, while Katrina Kaif is said to be joining the crew in an action-packed role. We are currently waiting for confirmation on this.

Details collected from a close source says that from the start, the Ali Abbas Zafar and Shahid Kapoor film has been envisioned as a large-scale action thriller for the big screen.  All of the stakeholders feel that an action thriller like this would have a large theatrical audience and that the combination of Ali and Shahid will make the appropriate level of noise. The only way this may appear on the digital platform is if the country goes into another extended lockdown; however, everyone in the country is confident that the dark days will not come back. There has been some confusion about its release medium because Ali has mentioned a project in the digital platform earlier, but that isn’t happening right now.

In terms of the work front, Shahid Kapoor, who was most recently seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Kabir Singh, is currently preparing for the premiere of the Bollywood version of Telugu National Award-winning sports drama Jersey. The film, which also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur, will be released on December 31st of this year. That’s not everything. Shahid will also make his digital debut in Raj & DK’s forthcoming project.
