Urmila Matondkar Releases Statement, Lashes Back At Kangana Ranaut

Actor-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar recently took a direct dig at actor Kangana Ranaut after the latter accused her of illegally buying property worth ₹3 crores. In the short video posted, she cleared the air about the funds that she spent on the new office and also asked Kangana to keep the promises she had made earlier. She stated that she had to sell her flat in DN Nagar, Andheri, to buy a plot this expensive and it had nothing to do with the political party she has been associated with. Urmila Matondkar also offered to show Kangana the property papers as proof to the statement, while coming clean on Twitter. The Shiv Sena worker also sternly said that the office had been built by working in the film industry for years and she has every document to prove her stance.

Actor Urmila Matondkar recently shared her statement on social media after she was questioned about the funds she spent on her new office. The Twitter war took off when Kangana Ranaut Tweeted that Urmila Matondkar had spent ₹3 crores on her new office after joining the Maharashtrian regional political party, Shiv Sena. She indirectly stated that the veteran actor had received a huge amount of money to join the party which gave her the funds to build her new office. However, Urmila Matondkar had a strong reply from the Queen actor, which was openly released on social networking platforms.

In the video shared, Urmila Matondkar has mentioned that she was able to build this office only because she sold an apartment in Andheri in March 2020. However, the transaction was delayed since the Coronavirus pandemic was in place, which subsequently delayed her office project as well. She also said that she is ready to present all necessary documents to prove her point as she is not guilty of any fraud activity.

At the end of the video, Urmila Matondkar also asked Kangana to reveal the names she had promised to disclose for NCB’s Bollywood drug case investigation.
