Yami Gautam Ties The Knot With URI Director Aditya Dhar In A Close-Knit Wedding Ceremony

On Friday, Yami Gautam tied the knot with URI director Aditya Dhar, taking her fans by complete surprise. The actor announced the good news through her social media handle and has been sharing inside pictures since then. The couple preferred private, traditional, and a close-knit wedding ceremony. Pictures from her intimate wedding affair have been making rounds over the internet, with fans showering them with loving messages and best wishes.

Yami took to her Instagram handle to inform the big news to her fans and followers. Sharing a picture of herself with Aditya from their wedding ceremony, Yami quoted the poet Rumi in her post. She wrote, “In your light, I learn to love – Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family.”

While the fans showered the newlyweds with lots of love, many of their industry colleagues also shared their best wishes. Yami and Aditya tied the knot at the actor’s hometown in Himachal Pradesh. The actor has been sharing pictures from her wedding festivities, including loved-up candids and sweet family portraits. Yami also shared pictures from her Haldi ceremony. Within no time, the pictures have gone viral over the internet.

Talking about Yami and Aditya’s love story, the duo met each other on the sets of their film URI: The Surgical Strike. While Aditya was directing the project, Yami featured as the female lead of URI. Though they were dating for a long-time, the couple chose to keep it under wraps.

 On the work front, Yami was last seen in the film Ginny weds Sunny. The actor is gearing up for her next ‘A Thursday’. On the other hand, Aditya is prepping for his next ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ which will feature Vicky Kaushal in the lead.
