Zee Rishtey Awards 2020: Pragya And Abhi’s Dance Performance Leaves Everyone Awestruck

Although the year 2020 was filled with bad memories, our Zee stars made sure that we end this year on a good note. The channel recently treated its viewers with its annual celebration, Zee Rishtey Awards 2020, and honoured the actors, who kept their fans entertained. Apart from witnessing heartfelt thank you speeches and fun banter among the hosts, it was the dance acts of the lead pairs of Zee shows that turned out to be the highlight of the big night. Kumkum Bhagya‘s Pragya and Abhi delivered a romantic dance performance that left everyone awestruck. Scroll down to watch their performance.

As per the above video, Sriti Jha aka Pragya started her performance on a lighter note to set a joyful atmosphere. First, she danced on song Din Shagna Da. As the crowd cheered for Sriti, she later added a special bit to her performance on Kabir Singh’s song Mere Sohneya. Interestingly, this part of Sriti’s performance was shot with a mirror effect. Later, she stole our hearts with her adorable expressions on song Ambarsariya. And, then our rockstar Abhi marked his entry while riding a rocket in the sky.

Abhi later levelled up the energy on the stage as we heard the dhol beats. He then took over the stage from Pragya and danced on the beats of Nazar Na Lag Jaaye. And, finally, the highlight of their performance came as the duo romanced on song Aabad Barbaad, sung by Arijit Singh. It was difficult to take our eyes off their sizzling chemistry. As their performance came to an end, we heard the crowd cheering and applauding for them.

Coming back to the awards ceremony, it was graced by various popular actors of Zee TV’s shows. Shraddha Arya, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Reem Shaikh and others bagged awards at the event. Shabir Ahluwalia, who plays the role of Abhishek Mehra aka Abhi in Kumkum Bhagya bagged ‘Favourite Character (Male)’ award at the event. The actor was overwhelmed after getting the award and thanked the team, especially his co-star Sriti Jha, who plays his wife Pragya in the show, and his reel wife Kanchi Kaul.
