Nayan's mother finds Nayan in the pond and pleads with her to come out of it. Elsewhere, Dripto tells Topobroto about Sanjukta's illness which Topobroto finds suspicious. Dripto says that he won't take the responsibility of the business if Jeet and Piku are not included in it. Later, Nayan and her mother find Shukla coming towards the pond. They fail to stop her from jumping into the pond. Nayan immediately brings Shukla out of the pond and is blamed by the villagers for Shukla's condition.
