10 Times When TV Jodis Enjoyed Romance In The Rain!

June is the month of the monsoon season but rains seemed to have arrived a bit early in India due to the cyclone Tauktae. While the coast is seeing heavy rainfall, the inner cities are seeing strong gusts of winds with occasional rains. With the onset of the rainy season, we are reminded of some of our favourite Zee jodis who got closer in the rains. Who doesn’t love a rainy romance right? Preeta and Karan from Kundali Bhagya

When Preeta (Shraddha Arya) married Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) for the second time, everyone in the Luthra house was angry with her including Karan. After the whole wedding drama, when Preeta went to Karan’s room to rest, things were still intense between them. And just then, it starts to rain and they rush to close the windows of their balcony. Eventually, they come closer and share some romantic moments where their anger melts away for a few seconds.

Pragya and Abhi From Kumkum Bhagya

When Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) sees Pragya (Sriti Jha) spending time with her friend Champak, he gets jealous. He decided to punish himself for loving Pragya and feeling jealous by standing out in the rain and getting drenched. When Pragya finds Abhi standing in the rain, she tries to get him inside but to no avail. When he doesn’t listen despite her numerous pleads, she’s forced to join him and the duo share a romantic moment in the rain.

Renuka and Mukund from Hamariwali Good News

In one episode after a misunderstanding between Renuka (Juhi Parmar) and Mukund (Shakti Anand) is cleared, the couple spends some quality time together in the rain. As most family members leave to go out, Mukund and Renuka take advantage of the situation and have their own date. Mukund dresses in a red shirt and black pants and Renuka comes out in a gorgeous red saree. The two take some time out of their hectic lives to just forget about the world and dance in the rain.

Kalyani and Malhar from Tujhse Hai Raabta

When Atharv proposes to Kalyani (Reem Shaikh), Malhar (Sehban Azim) gets jealous. As it rains, Malhar brings Kalyani out in the rain and they both get drenched. He holds Kalyani and says,”Giraftaar karliya hai maine tumhe. Kya tum mere giraf se khudko chudapaogi?” and Kalyani is left fumbling. Malhar looks at her intensely and asks her to reject Atharv’s proposal right away! Kalyani tries to free herself from his arms and hide her feelings from him, but they are very evident!

Prachi and Ranbeer in Kumkum Bhagya

#PranBir is the second most loved couple on Kumkum Bhagya after #AbhiGya. Prachi (Mugdha Chaphekar) and Ranbir (Krishna Kaul) are extremely opposites who fall in love with each other unexpectedly. In one of the episodes, Ranbir takes Prachi out for ice cream and it starts raining suddenly. He rushes to his car to drive her back home but she refuses to get inside and starts enjoying the rain instead. The duo stares at each other lovingly as the only thing that disturbs them are raindrops!

Meera and Vivaan in Kaleerein

When Vivaan is excited to take Meera to his house as his wife for the first time, it starts raining while they are on their way. Meera increases the volume of the radio and the two hold hands while Vivaan drives. When they arrive, Vivaan takes out his umbrella and escorts Meera outside only to drop the umbrella a minute later with a naughty smile on his face! Meera is happy as they get drenched in the rain and spend some romantic moments together!

Puchki and Shantanu in Yeh Teri Galiyan

Shantanu shows up drunk at Punchki’s doorstep. When she opens the door, she sees Shantanu getting drenched in the rain. As he starts getting sober in rain, he pulls Puchki closer and stares at her intensely. Puchki who is afraid that someone might see them forgets everything as she enjoys being in his arms.

Zoya and Asad in Qubool Hai

When Asad (Karan Singh Grover) decides to visit court and talk to the judge against Rashid, his father, Zoya (Surbhi Jyoti) and Ayaan decide to intervene as they want both families to be happy. Ayaan punctures Asad’s car and Zoya and Asad end up in an abandoned guest house. They eat pakode infused with bhang and fall into an intoxicated state. As they are delirious they begin to confess their affections for each other. Soon it starts raining and it’s one of the first times the couple openly show their love for each other and it’s one of the most romantic moments of all time!

Purvi and Arjun in Pavitra Rishta

Purvi (Asha Negi) and Arjun (Rithwik Dhanjani) love each other and go through many tough times together. But in one part of the show, it rains when they unite and they hold each other and cry. Arjun even gives Purvi a rose which makes her smile. While they are staring into each other’s eyes, Arjun slowly whispers ‘I love you’ in Purvi’s ear. Later, Arjun goes down on one knee and proposes to her while it’s still pouring! We remember how this scene gave us happy tears!

Roshni and Siddharth in Jamai Raja

When Siddharth (Ravi Dubey) is in a bad state and loses everything, Roshni (Nia Sharma) stays by his side. One of Siddharth’s friends helps him out and lets him stay in a small house with Roshni. Roshni who is tired and unaccustomed to heat and discomfort falls asleep and Siddharth adores her. He tells her that he knows how difficult this must be for her. He also promises that he will bring her happiness soon. Just then it starts raining and Roshni wakes up. She rushes to get drenched in the rain and he accompanies her. The two forget about their worries and get soaked in their love.
