With an array of TV shows releasing every year, there ought to be many similarities or inspirations. While many TV shows seem to be spin-off versions of iconic films, at times the makers take cues from classic or most loved TV characters. And the showrunners on Zee Marathi are following the same lead whilst entertaining the audience. Talking about one such example, Samarpratap from Pahile Na Me Tula is now reminding us of Majha Hoshil Na’s unhinged villain Suyash.
Though the stories of Pahile Na Me Tula and Majha Hoshil Na are slightly different, they are based on the theme of ‘modern-age romance’. Going by this, there are many interesting similarities between these two stories. However, one notable parallel is between the villainous characters from the shows, Samarpratap and Suyash. They seem to be long-lost brothers and their devilish persona has been an intriguing side of the story.
So, here’s taking a look at 5 reasons how Samarpratap seems to be a mirrored image of Majha Hoshil Na’s Suyash.
The Jodibreaker
In Majha Hoshil Na, Suyash never missed an opportunity to create a rift between Aditya and Sai. He befriended Aditya and Sai only to be a troublemaker in their lives. And quite similarly, Samarpratap has entered Suyash and Manasi’s love life. He has emerged as a jodibreaker in the story.
From persuading Manasi’s parents to creating problems for Aniket, Samar seems to have devoted his life to ruin the lives of this couple.
Devious Ploys!
Suyash was well-known for being a devious mastermind in Aditya and Sai’s love saga. From blackmailing Sai’s father to persuading Dada Mama for Aditya’s marriage, Suyash did make the couple’s lives no less than hell. And this is something Samarpratap is also following to create problems for Aniket and Manasi. Recently, we saw Samar using Satyajeet as a pawn to trouble the Desais. His devious ploys have made this romance story, full of conflicts.
An Obsessive Lover
Though Suyash had money-oriented reasons to marry Sai, he was completely obsessed with her. In the process of duping the Birajdars, he fell in love with Sai. However, his love for Sai took an unexpected turn as he began stalking her whereabouts. And this is something we have seen in Pahile Na Me Tula from the beginning itself.
Ever since he met Manasi, Samar has been obsessively stalking her. With the help of his informants, he got aware of Manasi’s personal life and family equations. And misused the same to enter their lives.
Letting The Hero Down
Suyash and Aditya’s relationship emerged from being friends to enemies. When the latter got aware of Suyash’s immoral plans, the battling equation between them began. And while trying to woo Sai, Suyash never failed to let down our hero Aditya. Similarly, in Pahile Na Me Tula we see Samarpratap doing the same with Aniket. Be it related to his “class” or “unsuitable” match with Manasi, Samar is always seen targeting Aniket.
The-Good-Boy Image
Though they are evils of the protagonist’s life, both Suyash and Samar maintained their good-boy image for the rest of the world. In Majha Hoshil Na, we saw Suyash making an interesting bond with the Brahmes in order to trouble Aditya. On the other hand, in Pahile Na Me Tula, Samarpratap has stepped in as a well-wisher of Desais. Both these characters live under the facade of their good-boy image.
