83 Box-office Collection Day 8: Drip In Numbers Remain Constant At Ticket Window Of Ranveer Singh’s Sports Flick

83 is the film that got released in theatres on December 24, 2021. The film received a great response from the fans and they made sure that they watch the film on the large screen only. But, the film is constantly experiencing drip in the numbers at the box-office. The film starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone among others did not perform that well at the ticket window as compared to the other films that were released recently in theatres.

Now, it’s been 8 days that the film is released and still the numbers are dropping with each day passing by. It was actually expected that the film will gain more at the box-office as the day ago was the day to celebrate and people would go and watch the film. But, unfortunately, this did not happen and the film ended up collecting Rs 4.36 crore on its day 8 of release. After this, the film’s total collection from December 24 to December 31 becomes Rs 76.23 crore.

The film directed by Kabir Khan was released in multiple languages apart from Hindi. The film was released in Tamil, Telegu, and Malayalam languages too. The reviews of the film are coming to be good but the numbers at the box-office are not increasing but are dripping each day.

At the end of its first week, the film entered into the club of Rs 70 crore. That was the point when the makers took a sigh of relief as the film finally reached the mark. But, a very few time span is left for 83 to accumulate digits at the ticket window. The reason is that the other films like Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn starrer RRR is releasing in theatres on January 7, 2022.

However, speaking of the film, it revolves around how the Indian cricket team won the trophy at the world cup match that took place against the West Indies in 1983. The film also saw Deepika Padukone playing the role of Romi, Indian cricketer Kapil Dev’s wife.
